The Four Pillar Approach to Alzheimer’s Prevention–Pillar III: Exercise–Mental and Physical
Join Reverend Brooke Winkler, MSSA, LISW-S, ACHT, E-RYT-200, RYT-300, Integrative Wellness Coach, and Brain Longevity Specialist certified by the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation®, and PhD Candidate in Mind-Body Medicine, for a presentation on the third of the four pillars of Alzheimer’s Disease prevention: Exercise—Mental and Physical.
Research has identified lifestyle changes as the best protection, and prevention begins 20 to 30 years before a diagnosis. Brooke will share the latest information from the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation, along with her 25 years of experience as a therapist, take an overwhelming disease and empower and educate on how small lifestyle changes can make a significant impact. This workshop will be interactive, helping understand how exercising our bodies and minds can help with Alzheimer’s Prevention.
